This is a view from our back deck.
Fog. Rain. Snow. Ice. I love the snow and cold, I do not like fog and cloudy skies. I prefer my winters to be sunny and bright, with snow covered ground (guess I forgot to put in my order this season). This winter has been so cold (and dark)! We've had temperatures down to -11F, and freezing winds. After living in Alaska I guess I should be used to this, but after spending the last 8+ years in Seattle, Montana and here... well, I'm completely adjusted to mild winters. Brrrrr!
