We have had 'B' for almost 4 (sleepless) weeks. He is now 10 weeks old, and just absolutely beautiful. His parents seem very nice, but I don't know all the details... of course we hope we can keep him forever if they can't. So far- aside from the sleepless nights- we are all crazy about him.

It's wonderful work you do.
It takes a huge heart to do foster care. My heart breaks for you if you can't keep your baby.
My husband and I had my 2 neices and 1 nephew (before we were married, and before we had kids) for several months b/c the county took the kids away from my sister. They have now been adopted by a very wonderful family, and have 'normal' lives that my sister would have NEVER been able to provide for them.
I appreciate the love you give to children who are not your 'own'.
