We finished up our unit study of "Madeline" today by making 'body bags' and cooking french crepes. Fun! We discovered Paris, France, it's location, flag design, map, and the Seine River. We read lots of great books about impressionists, Claude Monet, Louis Pasteur, germs, hospitals and Paris architecture. We also visited the dentist and used "disclosure" tablets to check where we weren't brushing our teeth well enough! Enlightening! Today we enjoyed chocolate chip cookies while we watched "Linnea in Monet's Garden". The kids are looking forward to starting "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel" tomorrow!
