We had so many issues crop up with the van all at once. Isn't that how it happens? First the tires started to look worn, then we discovered the idler arm and the pitman arm (steering related) needed to be replaced. In addition to that we had a leak in the rear emergency brakes, which needed new shoes. Why does this all happen when the warranty expires? -
I took it to the auto. hobby shop on the Air Force base, where the wonderful people there (one man in particular who was interested in adoption) fixed it above and beyond what it needed. This one man made sure every single thing was loaded and ready to go... he even washed my van... and they charged us about 300$ less than what we owed. My sister, Kris, was able (and willing!) to help us out as the total was over 1200$.

So thankful it's done. I think we need to bake some cookies.
