I hate this place. It's the second time Nick and I have taken our children. The entrance fee is ridiculous (which is why we waited for a free-child day), and the habitats for these animals are atrocious. It should be illegal. I guess that Siegfried and Roy (sp?) circus gets many of their animals from this place, some are retired movie "stars" and I understand the whole rehabilitation thing... but they are breeding tigers and keeping them in these dog kennels. The bear was in a kennel smaller than I would keep my dog and looked absolutely miserable. -
I did get a picture of our entire family (sans me), including our foster baby's little sis (we did respite for her for 4 days- she's darling). I think I captured a bit of the bond between Nick and the baby. He really loves him, it's going to be hard for all of us when he goes home.
