House Sparrows are not the favorite of most avid birders, but we love 'em. They make a lovely sound in the early morning, and then throughout the day. A couple decided to make their home in one of our bird houses, and the babies are just about ready to fledge. Friendly little guys, stick their heads out and wait for Mama to return with a juicy bug. This one loves to have his little head scratched. ~smile~
