It's 11:32 and I am desperately trying to stay awake. The kids don't seem to be having this problem. I'm a night owl, so why on THIS night my body wants to go to sleep early, I do not know.
We've been enjoying ourselves playing games. The little ones have been alternating between Hullabaloo, Bee Hive, and Dog-opoly. Kristianna, Kori and I played a long game of Patriot's Challenge, a very cool game! A trivial pursuit of sorts, 3 different levels/ points and everything you ever wanted to know about our country's history, geography, and government. Wonderful.
Kristianna bonded with the new kitten. Kori dropped out early to check her Horseland.com account when Hayden was finished, and Hayden worked on organizing our games in the hobby room while talking to his buddy Nick on the phone. He tends to get the cleaning bug late at night, but I'm not complaining...
12 more minutes and we'll be outside banging pots and pans, clinking Henry Weinhard root beer bottles, and then it's off to bed!!
