Nick and I "invested" in this little project of the kids. We won't say how much we paid for this little ball of fur, because it's embarrassing... and she's not paid off yet. ~smile~ Hopefully, with her first litter of kittens she will be!!
Annie is a Ragdoll kitten. There aren't many breeders, and the only reason we weren't put on a year long waiting list for her is that the family who was supposed to get her couldn't take her after all. It helps that the woman who raises these beautiful cats is a Christian, homeschooling Mama who started on this project (years ago) for the same reason we are. Education, a new pet, and a little cash for the bigger kiddos. We already have a mate-in-waiting for Annie when she is old enough to have her first litter. Her babies will hopefully go for 6-800$. As of now, these Ragdoll kitties are in high demand. ~grin~
