We took the train to Oregon this past Thanksgiving. It was an experience, one I don't think we'll repeat in a long while. The kids really enjoyed it, since they haven't been on a train before. but 8 hours (each way) was just too long a ride! We enjoyed our very good friends, and had a lovely Thanksgiving.
Hayden is in the bottom pic, hiding from me. It is so hard to get a picture of his gorgeous face!
