Bluebirds

Our baby Bluebirds are getting huge! Hayden was laughing when I got too close to the nesting box, he was afraid they'd fly out and hit me in the face (which has happened). Soon they should leave the nest, we'll clean it out and hopefully we'll see some new eggs before long. ~smile~

I got a good shot of that Bluebird murderer on top of the nesting box (Tree Swallow- they are very pretty). We cleaned it out, I wonder if they'll try to claim it for their own?

This last time was fun, although I'm a bit uneasy about all that wildlife so close... we had a young deer jump out of the trees to our right and run off a bit, before looking back to check us out. Then a coyote hopped through the brush a few hundred yards from us. I love nature, but I prefer to hear the sounds of wildlife from my bedroom window. ~smile~
