First competition of the year! The girls did well, Kristianna placed 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd. Kori placed 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Sara placed 4th in one of her dances, in her very first beginner competition! She was pretty upset- until I reminded her that we were not expecting her to place at all in her first comp.! Little Kyla placed 3rd. Linnea has chosen not to compete, and we are very thankful for that... she loves to dance, and it helps so much with her coordination, but she isn't going to be "good enough" to compete against other girls her age. She is determined that music is her thing. ~smile~
We had a great time at the hotel on the river, Katie came with us- I enjoyed her so much. The community center next door was showing 'Night at the Museum' in the park. The stars were out, the moon shining on the river- just gorgeous!
Lots and lots of photos. Hmm. I just noticed that my pictures look distorted on here... the close ups of Kristianna and Kori look nothing like them... hmmm.
